What can I say. This is a 5 star resort but you do pay for it. The pools are great. The adults only pool has a swim up bar and it's heated. The room that I got was nice and had a balconey facing the ocean. The only real problem is that everything is expensive in the hotel. Expect to pay $4 for water or soda. Also room service already comes with a 15% charge on top of what you order. They don't really tell you that but its on the receipt. Plus on the receipt there's another line for tip. I should have read it better. Basically i ended up tipping another 20% on top of the 15% they automatically tacked on. The people there were nice and offered to take it off when I complained when checkin out but I left it since I should have read it better on the receipt. But still. Food is pricey but what do you expect. Expect at least $60 - $70 for dinner for 2 without even drinks. Overall, it's a very nice hotel but kinda pricey. Come on...it's Mexico!!

Las Ventanas was the most amazing resort experience I have ever had. My husband and I could not have imagined better rooms, food, and service. Anything we could have wanted or needed was met with satisfaction and a smile. We will definitely be returning to this resort again when our travels take us to Mexico.

The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort was the nicest place I have ever stayed. I was extremely impressed with the accomodations and staff. I was a little suprised with the costs however. Meals ranged from $30 for lunch to $150 for dinner (for two). Transportation is also very expensive. Go to the Sheraton Hacienda thinking your vacation will be wonderful but if you have to ask how much it is, you probably can't afford it. Also, I decided to try some deep sea fishing for the first time. The service I used (III Amigos) out of Pamilla Beach was as expensive as the big charter servicees but not very service oriented. On top of it, they didn't talk to me ahead of time about keeping fish. The Marlin I caught was immediately gaffed and clubbed to death. Since I was staying in a hotel, it wasn't practical for me to keep the fish and when I questioned the Charter Service owner what they would do with the fish, they told me it wasn't a good eating fish and they would just end up giving it away to people on the beach. Not a great first time fishing experience.

This was our first time traveling to Mexico, and we were very pleased with the accommodations and service - both of which exceeded our expectations. Staff were welcoming, hospitable, and eager to please. They were constantly cleaning the resort and grooming the landscape, paying attention to the smallest of details. The property was beautiful and the views breath-taking. Our room was clean and spacious; the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that we shared the room with tiny, harmless bugs (something I heard was common). I read several reviews concerning the cost of food on the resort. While it was more expensive than eating off-property, I found the prices to be comparable with that of U.S. resorts. The portions were appropriate; we even split a few dishes. The food was good, but again, the quality is comparable to U.S. resorts - not to 5-star restaurants. Overall, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff far outshined any minor complaints we may have had about the room or food. I would highly recommend this resort to those looking to relax, unwind, and be catered to!

Cabo del Sol Resort at Puerta del Sol is an excellant condominium style resort. The units are large and well appointed. The service was excellent. We liked the proximity to the golf course and the town of Cabo San Lucas. This resort seems especially in style for those spending a week in Los Cabos with its kitchen, washer, dryer, and spaciousness.
