Beautiful resort the 2 Superior Garden Rooms that we had booked were lovely although we decided to upgrade to 2 Ocean Wing (OW) Rooms which were absolutely amazing the best I have ever stayed in, huge with an equally huge balcony with a double bath and loungers, you could book a butler to run theme baths for you such as bubbles for young ones or rose petals and oils for couples. The reason we upgraded was that the main resort is very large and had a lot of families and thus the swimming pools were more suited to children with slides etc. The Ocean Wing had a lovely private pool and whilst children could use it there wern't many as the guests were limited. OW guests also had an exclusive private al a carte breakfast. and lots of litte extras during the day. All in all the OW felt like a smaller hotel (which we prefer) but with all the facilities and variety that the larger hotel offers. The team at the nature reserve were knowldegable and really helpful. It was wonderful to see the Orang-Utans in the natural rainforest habitat, and I couldn't resist a daily visit to see the baby who is still in the nursery. The beach is very large and at the time we were there seemed a bit desolate, probably due to sand flies, although I walked on the beach daily and didn't see any. It's just nicer being taken care of by the staff at the pool side. Wonderful quality of service and beautiful resort.
