This was our second stay at the Hyatt Key West Resort and it was just as wonderful as the first. The hotel is in a great location and is very well maintained. The service was just as exceptional as on our first visit 2 years ago. In fact, we recognized several employees from that visit. We did have breakfast each morning in the open air restaurant. It was not only very convenient but quite tasty. The pool, sandy beach area and dock allow you to relax in whatever type of setting makes you happy. The location is tops as you are able to venture off to so many of the "must go to" Key West places quite easily. Needless to say, this is where we will always stay on our Key West adventures.

I had low expectations but this was the only resort I could find that didn't charge you daily resort fees and we were on a budget. It actually exceeded my expectations. They upgraded us to a room with a king bed and a balcony which really made all the difference. The room and pool were clean, the beach area was nice, and all in all a great 3 to 3 1/2 star resort. Don't eat or drink here though. It was incredibly expensive. Luckily there was a refrigerator in the room and we were able to stock up on drinks and snacks at the local grocery store. Plus there are 4 excellent restaurants within walking distance north of the resort.

After reading some reviews I did not have high expectations for this hotel but I was pleasantly suprised with the attentive, friendly, accomodating and professional customer service we received upon check in and the cleanliness of the hotel and our room! The room is small but up to date and very clean! The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to be in the heart of everything! Location, location, location!!! People from all over the island come to this hotel for the sunset every night. It is gorgeous! The pool is not what I had hoped for. There were a lot of kids there and the bar is very quiet. But the lobby is nice. The restaurant offered delicious and very reasonable shell seafood! I was extremely happy with the customer service from the maid staff to the front desk to all of the bartenders... you are treated as if you are in a 5 star resort!

I wished we stayed more than one night and could have taken advantage of all this resort offered. You are allowed unlimited use of non motorized water crafts, which would have been nice if it wasn't so windy when we were there. It's a beautiful resort, and I even liked it better than one down the street that cost twice as much. This one is still a little pricey, but well worth it.

This is a place for boaters. Great slips and convenient. The pool area is clean and lovely. Nice view from the rooms. Each unit is individually owned but cleaned by resort staff. There is nothing to do in the area surrounding the resort and not much inside. Great for resting!

We spent Labor Day weekend at the Boca Cheeca Resort with our 11-month-old daughter. Service was friendly throughout our stay and the grounds were beautiful, especially at night...I love tiki torches! We stayed in one of the bungalows by "spa island" and had waterfalls and lush trees surrounding our screened-in porch. The rooms were smaller and less expensive than the rooms at the main lodge but perfect for our needs. We rolled the pack-and-play (provided by the hotel as they had run our of cribs over the busy Labor Day weekend) into the bathroom for nap and bedtime. My only complaints are minor: the elevator in our building was not air conditioned and the towels were not as soft as I would have liked, but I'm grasping at straws here. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we have plans to return soon and take advantage of the on-site babysitting services we heard about during our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights while we traveled back and forth to Key West. The Resort was well maintained and the staff very helpful. The best part about the Resort happened to be the grounds. The lagoon area is a great place to relax and soak up some sun - everything else is well maintained. The room was clean and we had enough room in the closet to store all our luggage, which is a plus. I would stay there again...it's one of the few places in The Keys that you aren't unhappily surprised by the room when you get there!

This was my third or so visit to Holiday Isle and my girlfriend's first. First of all, it's famous. The Rum Runner drink was founded here about 60 years ago, and Kokomo Beach inspired the Beach Boys song. It has bars, restaurants, a beach, pools, and four hotel buildings on the premises. Good news is the resort makes sunRISE views perfect. The downside is that it doesn't face west, so sunSET views won't happen while at Holiday Isle. A quick run across the street will give you perfect views. I HIGHLY suggest this hotel/resort! Enjoy!

The resort was cool and it was a great setting. We stayed in the one room ocean vista suite and had a good view and the bed and living space were perfect. The service at the pool and outdoor restaurant were great, but not so much at the front desk. We were disapppointed that the shuttle to/from the airport was not free. Having experienced "RESORTS" in the Mayan Riviera, Aruba and Bahamas, the Casa Marina (deeming itself a resort) should offer an all inclusive package option for food and beverages and also offer complimentary coffee or continental breakfast or snacks during the am and pm and even half priced drinks in the early evening. The only complimentary items included a popsicle if you were at the poolside at 2pm and a "drink of the day" dixie cup sized beverage before lunchtime. All recreational activities are through a business that was adjacent to the resort and the pricing was quite high for jet skis, boating, scooter rentals. Again, an all inclusive package from the resort should offer at least free non-motorized sports or discounts for the motorized ones.
