It was the prettiest hotel we've ever stayed at. I loved all the decorative details. They resort employees were nice and friendly. We went off season and not much was going on, but it was still beautiful and we had a very nice stay with the hotel all to ourselves. We had breakfast each morning at the resort, and fresh baked cookies were waiting for us when we arrived at check in. We had to change plans and leave 1 day earlier and that was no problem as well. The boat rentals opened for us to take a boat out! They were very accommodating. We were worried when we read some other reviews and the road people complained about was just a country highway, you have to get there somehow!! We couldn't even hear it ,and technically our great room, with a lake view, faced it over the very large lake! The surrounding restaurants were a great explore. We stayed there the week before Easter 2010.
