Hotel staff was friendly when we checked in, but after we checked out and I thought I left something behind in the room, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the house keeping staff to return my call and girl at the front desk -" manager on duty" -was terrible to me. Hotel is a little drab, rooms kinda crummy, definitely does not stand up to the newer holiday inns, hilton garden inns, and other budget chains that have "refreshed" their image and rooms recently. Location is a little sketchy...right next to the waffle house...maybe it is just my inner Boston snob! About 7 miles away from down town Hot Springs, which is much nicer than the Lake Hamilton area. This is not a "resort" by any stretch of the imagination.
