Our stay at the El Dorado Seaside Suites could not have been better. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. We arrived just after hurricane Dean and the staff had done much work restoring the complex. Grounds were beautiful, the room was perfect, beds were very comfortable and the dining was impeccable. Many thanks to all those who made our stay so pleasant. We plan to return next year. Use Lomas travel for transportation to and from the airport as it is well organized and they have a staff person at the resort.

I'm not an extrememly picky person when it comes to reviews but now that I've traveled a little bit over the pat two years, I have something to compare to. This place is huge...to the get ALL the benefits they advertise you have to visit all 4 of the hotels that comprise of this massive hotel...even the gym is shared so it's a hike just to get to the gym depending on which section of the hotel you stay at. The beach wasn't too far...the beach was beautiful:) No reservations at restaurants which can be a good and bad thing...everyone gets a fair shot but also if you want that particular restaurant don't go at 8 or 9...you gotta get there early (like 6) to make sure you get in...that's my advice. Trolleys were helpful but a pain to wait for (these are offered because the place is so huge). Shower head in room wouldn't stay up..annoying but overall room was good. The forest part of the hotel is cool...get to see wildlife and that's really fun. Didn't even use a pool what so ever...on the beach all the time and visited the salt water pool which is cool...food was good, my husband even said it was better than the place we went for our honeymoon and I would have to agree (that the food in the restaurants was good, buffet was ok). Overall: pretty good hotel, next time I go somewhwere I'm upgrading though...I want to be treated special when I'm on vacation and I want the really nice room that close to everything and I definitely need a tour esp. when the resort is as big as this one.

This was our second stay at the hotel. Our first visit last year was so perfect that we couldn't wait to return. We were again delighted beyond words. It was so wonderful to find the same staff still working there and even some of the same guests! Almost every guest is a repeat visitor. This says something indeed about how top quality the vacation experience is. Yes, it is a clothing optional hotel and most guests are unclothed most of the time. But it is a safe natural experience and there is a hotel policy, which guests must sign, warning that any untoward behavior will get you thrown out. The resort has one pretty good restaurant, La Vista, but if you want variety you can don some clothes and use the facilities of the Eldorado Seaside Resort next door where there are 5 excellent restaurants to choose between. The food, drink, entertainment, the rooms, the hotel facilities in general are all first class. What makes it even better is that the guests at Hidden Beach are nice friendly people just like you would meet back home. We have already booked our next visit to the resort.

Adequate all inclusive. Would not go back because of the food and drinks (too bland, overcooked and same dressed up buffet fare being served at the à la carte restaurants in some cases) but for the overall resort experience, it was quite enjoyable with two small children. The resort staff are quite helpful. The vibe this place gives off is very relaxed, safe, clean and family friendly. The resort is approximately 1hr15 from Cancun. Layout is well done. You can stay within your resort (Riviera in our case) but have access to all the other lobbies, buffets, restaurants, bars, pools, beach etc. The internal shuttle service contrary to many reviews was efficient and a 5-10 min wait for a train was normal. Be prepared to walk though. There is no room service for food. We booked a suite to have the kids play and sleep in their own area. The suites at the Riviera include a large living room with sofa bed and were quite adequate. Bring a night light if your kids use them as leaving any of the lighting on in the room provides too much illumination. Bathroom is large and functional and very clean. It’s the tropics so there are bugs everywhere. Do bring repellent for the evenings and anytime you enter some shaded areas. The grounds look wild with villas tucked away behind screens of vegetation. Lots of new things to see along walking paths, but just watch the speeding golf carts and service vehicles. Suitable beach( no rocks, seaweed) was a 10 min walk from our Riviera villa.

We went to this resort to attend a family wedding not knowing too much about it. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the resort. The staff was extremely friendly especially to our 1 year old daughter. The rooms were nice and the grounds were beautiful. We stayed in a standard room and found it roomy and nice. The pool was huge and the beach was great. There are many restaurants to choose from although with a baby we mainly ate at the buffet which was huge and very good. It is a large resort so it involves a lot of walking and there are many bridges and stairs. We brought a stroller and rarely used it due to this. The spa was big and very impressive, however some of the areas were not up and running. We have traveled to several nice resorts over the past few years and found this to be very nice.

I returned from a 1 week stay at the Kantenah- Grand Palladium Mayan Resort. I travelled with 8 people and the whole trip was wonderful and everything worked out to our satisfaction. We emailed the resort before going and got in the same building which helped so we could walk places together. The resort is immaculate and the grounds are out of this world. The main paths are covered with hut like roofs in case of rain. I saw many animals, birds, reptiles at this resort more than any other. The beaches- white fine beautiful sand and a great swimming area with sand and coral beach area for others to snorkel. The pools were very large and I took a floatie and that was a great idea as the whole pool was over my head so I could float around easily. I do wish the pool was shallow in certain areas so I could have stood up and walked in it more but I was just too short 5'3". The restaurants were good but not fabulous and we got in with very little wait time. The Buffets were good but I have been to some resorts that had better food and more selection. The drinks were very good and the staff was wonderful always trying to please. The SPA is the nicest I have seen ever!!!!! There's many things to do without paying like a lazy river to walk through, foot reflexology walk area, ice cold plunge pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, hot tub with massaging jets from above and an infinity pool with a great view. I had a massage on the beach and a facial at the spa.....What a trip!!
