My favorite thing about this hotel was the Beach-side restaurant and bar area, it was very modern and stylish and the food (Thai and western) and cocktails were good. The rooms were interesting, more like small cottages than hotel rooms. I didn't particularly like the interior of the room, it was all painted green and there was no bath-tub. However it was spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this resort to a friend, mostly for the beach-side facilities.

Great resort, perfect beach for snorkeling. However, the food options are rather limited, there are only 3 resorts on that beach, and all their restaurants are rather westernized. Don't expect to find any authentic Thai food here. It's ok though for a few days, the nice setting (bungalows on the hill side, hidden among trees) and cocktails at sunset well make up for it. Don't bother going to the other side of Ko Samed. Ao Prao is much nicer and not crowded (there were never more than 20 people on the beach at the same time - this was during August).
