Hello - I recently stayed at this hotel last weekend. I chose this hotel over the other "old city" facilities because of the history and reputation of this hotel. Unfortunately, I wasn't awed by it. While the customer service was wonderful and the rooms were clean and the hotel was in a convenient location, we found the hotel to be lacking in the entertainment area. I am 44 years old and I vacationed with my two teenagers. We found the hottub to be broken until the end of the month, my massage in the "spa" was a horrible experience, the pool area was small and filled with small children. The bar was very "unlively". While the bar is a nice quiet retreat from the noisy pool area, there was no other bar with more "spice" to it. If I were older I would consider staying at this resort again, however, my next visit will include a stay at a equally evaluated hotel which costs less money.
