We recently stayed at the Peppers at Lake Tekapo in January 2012. On arrival I checked out our room and was not happy with the outlook so asked if there was an alternative and was given a different room with no hassles at all. The staff are lovely and very professional. Room service was super fast and excellent. The resort is well laid out and has all the basics however it lacks the extra details like a pool and gym etc but what they do have they do well. Parking is a bit tight and other guest tend to park you in which can be a pest if you are a photographer like me who wants to take off before the sunrise! Our apartment could have done with a paint job but this is minor. Also the doors are heavy and noisy so if you are a person who likes to sleep in this may annoy you. Lake Tekapo is beautiful even in the summer, can just image what it is like in the winter. Must return!
