We arrived reception staff very friendly and helpfull shown to our room in a buggy porter carried our luggage which was good because we were on a hill side, so ask for a chalet close to the road if you don't fancy a bit of a climb. The resort is beutifull pool, more or less private beach with loungers food was good service at times a bit slow all in very nice.

We took the hydrofoil from HCMC to Vung Tau then a taxi to the resort -400,000vnd, bout a 35 minute drive. As we arrived on a Friday afternoon, we were the only guests at the hotel which is exactly what we wanted. Check in was easy and we were shown to our deluxe room which we think was the best room in the house. We were on the 2nd floor facing the ocean and our TV was in front of the window giving us our own picture in picture. The room was clean and had a balcony - the only thing missing was chairs for the balcony as the chairs in the room were quite big and bulky to try to move outside. The bathroom was well equipped with a bathtub, hairdryer , lots of towels and lotions and potions. White terry cloth robes were in the closet. There is a long beach in front of the hotel, perfect for those who like an early morning walk on the beach. The food was good but a bit on the expensive side, 250,000 vnd for rack of lamb which although very tasty, was actually 2 lamb chops served with french fries. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of Asian food and bacon, sausage, eggs and omelettes for the Western palate. A company group came later in the afternoon and we were a bit concerned about the noise factor as we noticed a bonfire had been built of the beach in front of our room. We were pleased to find that although the group seemed to have a good time, there was no karoake and the noise was minimal, mostly drowned out by the sound of the pounding surf!! In the morning, all evidence of the fire and the party were gone. The pool was clean with lounge chairs around it and staff to provide towels. There is a decent fitness room and a games room with fuze ball and a pool table, also surf boards, wind sails and inflatable canoes for rent. The sea was quite rough while we were there so we didn't try any of the rental equipment. The spa was great, I had a 3 hour package which cost 700,000 vnd and would recommend. The only negative thing about the resort was that there is nothing within walking distance such as convenience shops or restaurants so unless you're mobile, you're stuck there. For us it was fine as we just wanted peace and quiet away from the noise and pollution but it's not a party resort. I'd recommend the resort to couples or families but not to party animals!!
