We stayed at Mimosa Resort and Spa for 9 nights for our honeymoon. The room we had was exactly as it looked on their website and featured a King sized bed, a two person Jacuzzi in the front courtyard and an outdoor rain shower. We enjoyed our stay and the staff there were very friendly and extra helpful. While we were there it rained night and day and the staff went out of their way to make sure we stayed dry moving to and from our room. They went out of their way to book our tours etc. and got them at 'local' costs. There were a few instances where language barriers caused a few small errors in room service orders and restaurant orders, but nothing tha really bothered us. The pricing of the restaurant is a little expensive and the menu is small as is the pricing at the spa, but alternatives can easily be found along the main road or in town. One of the few downfalls of this resort is that it is a fair way out from the main town Chaweng and there is not much going on in the surrounding areas. You will definitely need to hire some sort of vehicle to get around if you are staying here. Also the road leading toward the resort had a sand bridge over a creek which l flooded and most of the bridge collapsed meaning only small vehicles such as motorbikes were able to cross, so we were stuck at the resort the last couple of days of our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and if we were looking for a quiet retreat in Koh Samui, we would definitely stay again :D

a very nice hotel in a not convenient location. you need the hotel transport (or your own) to get anywhere from the hotel. the advertised beach resort they co-operate with is non-excistend.
