Went with friend - girls' break of 3 days October 2009. Would have given more for hotel service however we arrived early, room not ready, sent for an on the house coffee, room still not ready (we were informed by one brusque member of staff) so went for a walk instead. With hindsight member of staff could have informed us how to get towels for sunbeds, what time restaurant for lunch, beach bar etc instead of us hanging around until room was ready. All said and done rest of service was fine, enjoyed the break had read reviews about hotel charging extra for tea/coffee packs in rooms so brought own tea and coffee and purchased milk and a few over bits and pieces. Hotel and resort not too crowded at this time of year. Enjoyed swimming in indoor pool with hardly another soul in sight. Would visit El Fuerte agai n

Excellent high quality resort. Huge apartments, very well equipped, and very well maintained. Excellent resort, and very good position for explorting whole area. While resort was full (it was half-term week) it never felt crowded at all, and the quality and the quantity of the staff was excellent. Would definately go again, and will be going back with friends next time.

We flew with monarch, the cabin crew were excellent but the seats were uncomfortable. Book extra leg room! Hotel Polynesia is incredible. You wont need or want to leave the resort. Take a few extra quid for the spa, shop and games room. Please visit the spa! Food all day is a buffet, an absolute 5 star buffet! U will be spoiled for choice. Great place for families and couples. I wont holiday anywhere else. LOVE polynesia ! x
