Our stay was quite comfortable. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, but in a good condition. What really makes all the difference is the great service from hotel staff. They were all very nice and helpful. This is important when staying in Manuel Antonio since you often need to arrange different activities / tours / transportation etc. To sum it up - dont hesitate to book this hotel if the price is nice. But do not expect a lavish 5 star resort.

This was are 3rd trip to Costa Rica, but 1st time in Manuel Antonio. Loved this resort. Bungalow is the only way to go. The resort has a nice pool and great pizzas. Try the Chicken/Pesto. My only complaint is that it did not have a view of the ocean, not even from the restuarant. I would not stay here again because of this. This resort was in walking distance to the grocery store, and most of the main restuarants. The beach was only a 5min. 50c bus ride. You can walk to the beach in about 20 minutes, but coming up is terrible. About a 60% angel mountain side. This is how all the resorts are in the area though. If you stay closer to the beach, it isn't as safe. We felt very safe here. The Bungalows were great. Right in the middle of the rainforest. The monkeys came through the treeline of the resort everyday at least once. There were white faced, squirrel, and Howlers. The howlers were like alarm clocks. It was a great exsperience. For the first time there it did what we needed. Just wish this resort had the view, because it diffently has the service, monkeys, and cleanliness.

Nestled in a hillside above two very private, quiet and absolutely gorgeous beaches, the Arenas Del Mar exceeded all our expectations. For what would certainly rate as a five-star resort, the food and beverage prices were very reasonable and the service staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We rated the Arenas Del Mar as falling in our "top-10" all time favorite resorts we've stayed in throughout the US, Europe and the Carribean. The on-premises wildlife and birds were amazing. Truly an outstanding resort!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit on the second floor. Our condo was in excellent condition and very nicely furnished. My kids did complain that their beds were too hard- but other than that we loved everything. The pool area was very nice- quite busy the first afternoon but relatively quiet the next two days. We did walk down to the beach. It was quite a hike- I know they will drive you there if you want but I think I would find a bigger nicer beach if I was going to make the effort. The complementary breakfast was nice ( adequate) and you did have the option to order additionally from the menu as all of the breakfasts were made to order. The wait was fairly long in the mornings and they did not open until 7- so one morning we had to take breakfast to go in order to meet our 7:30 tour and the last morning we left before they opened. There are several nice eating options within walking distance plus a market- so the location was very good overall. Bus stops were just at the top of the hill. We did not have a car during our stay but it was not a problem for us. It was easy to get a taxi when we needed one. We did eat in the restaurant the last night. It was very quiet. The food and sevice were very good. We really loved the resort overall and would not hesitate to return.

Perfect, what else can I say? The Falls Resort is reasonably priced for the Quality of Service you receive. It was the perfect size resort. Not to big whereas the staff doesn't know your name. The grounds are beautiful, plenty of flora and fauna to keep even the paparatzi clicking pictures of the monkeys, sloths, lizards, and flowers. The staff truly understands and takes great pride in not only their jobs but the resort as well. The grounds crew made sure everything, pool, hot tub, sitting areas were cleaned and ready. Johanna the receptionist gave us the best room in the house. Her along with Jorge were there for anything that would make our stay the very best. Just ask and you shall receive. The room was beautiful huge bed, large bathroom, looks like the place was just done over. Something right out of a movie. House keeping kept up with us as well and went as far as fancy shapes with the towels every day. Just small things that make you feel like being at home. The restaurant and bar were typical open air bistro style with a ambience that i haven't seen duplicated. Chef Flander and his beautiful assistant Camila were fantastic. Flander is truly an inspiration to the culinary world. He has a certain passion for what he cooks and proved it with some of the delightful meals he cooked for us. Try the Mahi Mahi Ceviche, you won't be disappointed. the waiters Luis, Esteban, and Andres make your dining expierince truly magical. The bar tender Rhaoames I can truly call a friend whereas we spent most of our time drinking those fantastic concoctions that he would come up with. Ask him to make you a frozen mojito or my absolute favorite a MOY TOY. To the restaurant staff all I can say is THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK. We had a very good expirience and would recommend this Hotel to all, couples, families, and singles. Enjoy
