I recently booked the trip to Los Cabos to celebrate my fiance's 30th b-day. We wanted a place to stay that was close to all to all that we wanted to do and at least nice and neat to lay our heads. We got way more with Cabo Villa Beach Resort. It is right in front of one of the swimmable parts of the beach which means easy access to swimming and other water activities. Also, at night everyone seems to gravitate near a restaurant called The Office and it also at the back door of Cabo Villa Beach Resort. Also, the Marina is close by for shopping, eating and night clubs. Basically we walked everywhere we needed to go. And the hotel room was nice. We had a balcony with views of the Sea of Cortez, as do most of the rooms. The room decor was clean and stylishly modern. And the bathroom was icing on the cake with its lovely stone work and glass enclosed shower that could fit at least 2 people. The experience gets a 10 in my book.

The resort was beautiful and extremely clean. The hotel spa was wonderful although a bit pricey. There is a shuttle from this hotel to it's sister hotels every hour but we found the other hotels boring and not much to do. The walk to downtown is not bad at all. About 10 minutes and pretty safe and crowded until about 8pm. We tried The Office and the Mango Deck. They are right along the beach about a 5-10 minute walk to the right of the resort. The Mango Deck is ok but The Office was very good but very pricey. The Office has Mexican Parties on Thursday so dinner there on Thursday is recommended. We actually tried another restaruant closer to the resort, again to the right of the resort, about 3 minute walk on the beach. The restaurant is call Nikki Los Cabos. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is part of the Mi Resort or Hotel I think. But it is highly recommended. The atmosphere is very romantic. And there is also a club in the resort that is beautiful call the Passion Club. It is best to go to this restaurant on Saturday night. The have a fire show that is a "DO Not Miss". The show starts a quarter to nine. It was so amazing it has to be one of the best shows we had seen. And they do not come around asking for tips after the show. All other places like The Office and Mango Deck have people asking for tips afterwards. You have to try the steaks. For some reason, seafood in Los Cabos is not as fresh as I though it should be.
