While researching the hotel rates around the area over the span of a couple of weeks, we were very fortunate to luck up on the 24 hour expedia sale for this resort. This property has a "resort" atmoshpere and will not leave you feeling like you stayed at a hotel. Beautiful views of the Harbor, and Marina, piers to walk down to the waterway, beautiful sandy beach area with swings, pool and resort area was beautifully landscaped, staff was professional and friendly, room and bedding were in great shape and clean. The hotel is wonderfully located, within a few miles to the downtown area or about a mile to many of the waterview resturants. While we were in the area, we looked at some of the other hotels. Unless you just wanted to stay in the historic downtown area, I would definately recommend this resort.
