This was our first time at this resort,and we look forward to our next visit. Although there was a snag upon our check in,about the difference between ocean front and ocean view...we ended up with an ocean front and a dual view!!! Thanks to the mgmnt.. The bed was down comfort w/extra pillows-great! very clean and silky feel sheets I enjoyed the "earl grey tea. We enjoyed hotel shuttle,especially the fun bus w/cc after a night of one to many "grey goose(smile) We both will refer this hilton/resort to our friends.

Beautiful resort with wonderful rooms. The indoor pool was amazing alone with two huge spas, a large pool outside and a lazy river to float around on tubes. The resort had great restraunts and nightlife. I loved my trip here and will definately go back to this resort it was amazing. They had everything you would ever need, even a convience store located in the resort... I will never forget this trip!

Really loved the location of the resort, the layout of the place, but our room had roaches., which managment refeered to them as "palmetta bugs". When maint came up to spray........... they told me that the bugs that I killed and showed them were indeed roaches. Management was not very open to having us come back to try the resort again, or to discount the price of the room we paid for two nights.

This was my second time staying at Ocean Dunes Resorts. Only my first experience was much better than my second. We were placed in a different tower this time, which seems to be the stepchild of the resort. There was no roomservice until I requested it and then it was minimum just clean towels and the bed made. No coffee, tissue, paper towels, sponges, soap, or garbage bags. We had to purchase everything ourselves. The room needed cleaning and looked like it had not been thouroghly cleaned in years. I will not be returning to this resort again. I will try a different resort next time I love going to Myrtle Beach but I did not enjoy my stay this time. I will say this, when we arrived the room we were assigned was overwhelming due to the smell of cigerettes it was supposed to be a non smoking room which is what I requested. I called the front desk and was told to wait until they sent someone up to investigate. At first I waited about 5 minutes but the smell triggered an asthma attack so I went to the front desk and handed in my keys and was switched to another room but only because I insisted. The Lady at the front desk did change my room but with attitude. I can not understand how in one tower you get treated like family and in the other like an unwanted guest. I come from a family of hospitality workers and I know how much work they have which is why I always tip very well but this time I left no tip. The service was so bad I felt as though they owed me money for staying there.

Hotels.com booking was great, actually got to speak to a person and confirm my reservation, unlike another travel site that shall remain nameless. Springmaid was fantastic also. Room was larger than expected, with an unexpected full size refridgerator and icemaker. Great views as promised. Marlin's on site restaraunt was great for a quick meal, cafateria style, if you did not want to leave the resort. Only drawback was limited parking at the resort. But it is the only place in Myrtle Beach with a semi private pier on site, quiet part of the beach too.Other than that I would easily reccomend Springmaid resort, and Hotels.com

This is a wonderful place. It has everything you need right there in the resort. You don't really have to leave. It is perfect for families and children. The water park and pools are wonderful. There are so many dinning options and entertainment. It is the best place I have stayed. I am originally from Myrtle Beach so I know the area and how some hotels are NOT for families....Kingston Plantation IS the one for you and your family. The hotel's staff is great. Our room was actually ready early, but they gave us full access to the entire resort until the room was ready (we were early). They even have waitresses at the water park to take your order and bring your food to you while you continue to enjoy the fun...where else do they go that far for the guest? This place was great and I WILL stay there again. This will always be my first choice when I visit Myrtle Beach. I am already planning next year's trip. Thanks to all the staff at Kingston for a great vacation!

This hotel far exceded my expectations! The resort was big and very accomodating from internet availabilty to restaurants on site and several pools as well as a private beach! The room was fantasic and big with a private screening in balcony/patio. The kitchen was big and had everything you need. the room was also very clean and comfy. It is about a 15-20 min drive from the main attractions in myrtle beach and only about 5-10 min from pawleys island. The price was very reasonable compared to other resorts around and for such great quality. I wish I would have booked my stay for longer, I highly recommend this resort.
