The rooms were very comfortable and had an interesting way of being flexible. Our suite was actually three rooms with connecting doors opened between them. We ended up with two bedrooms, a sleeper sofa, and three bathrooms - plenty for two adults, two girls, and one boy. The staff were all very friendly and have obviously been trained from housekeepers to valets to greet guests at all times. The skiing was right outside the hotel, and all equipment and lessons were reserved on the grounds. My only criticism would be the expense; it is a very nice resort, but you pay for the luxury, not only for the rooms, but restaurant meals, sports equipment and the like are expensive. Additionally, there is no free shuttle from the Salt Lake City airport to the resort. Fortunately, we had a ride from a family member who lives there; otherwise, we were looking at $150 PER PERSON for a shuttle to and from the airport. I'd recommend the Grand Summit overall, but bring your cash!

Great Skiier Services Dept., really made our skiing experience easy! However, when it came time to check out the desk clerk was unable to update our list of charges. The bill showed we owed the amount for the room charges which we had prepaid through expedia.com. She was not able to find the Westgate Grill charges we incurred during our stay and could not provide us with an amount which would be charged to our credit card prior to our leaving. Since it was 5:30 a.m. the manager wouldn't be available until 7:00a.m. and we had an early flight to catch prior to then. We were assured the manager would call us later that day. There was no communication from Westgate. After three days and two messages to two managers' voice mail, I still had no response. Finally, a desk clerk upon my request, sent a fax with the charges which had since been billed to our account. There is no customer contact available via email to Westgate Resort. Obviously, they are not interested in customer satisfaction when it comes to billing!

When we booked the resort we thought we were getting a great price on a new, luxury studio with a "mountain" view. On the contrary, the room was run down and "beat" as my boyfriend put it. We were so excited to get a "mountian" view but it turns out the our view was blocked by a great big buiilding which not only blocked the view of the mountain it also blocked the sun light from coming in the room. Lighting was dim and everything else just was worn down and old. The kitchen was great and having a washer/dryer and fireplace were nice. Hallways smelled a bit of sewage and you had to leave the resort to get a drink or a meal. Having said that, the surrounding village was wonderful, restaurants great, and the location was essentially ski in and ski out

This was a convieneint location for our winter stay, as we went to several ski resorts in the area-ranging from 5-50 minutes . The gas fireplace and indoor parking were a plus too.Was a short walk to either an outdoor hot tub, or the outdoor pool/hot tub/clubhouse. Very reasonably priced for a condo-comfortable and adequately appointed, except for a super uncomfortable sleeper sofa(when pulled out). The office was only a short drive, and they were very helpful, helping us with info. on several occasions.

When we arrived, we discovered the pool was closed for maintenance. We had children, so were very disappointed by this. We called All Seasons Resorts, who owns Powderwood as well as the other condo developments and they gave us a key to swim at a another resort for our entire stay. The first night was in a one bedroom, and it was beautifully done and comfortable. The next night we had booked a two bedroom with a loft, since we were expecting more people. After checking in we realized they had given us a two bedroom without a loft. So, they upgraded us to stay at Crestview. IT WAS GORGEOUS THERE!!! I would recommend those condos, over Powderwood. However, both were nice and the customer service was outstanding.

These Condos were very close to The Canyons Ski Resort, 5 minutes even with gear, and to the bus transit station to get to Kimball Junction and to Park City. There was also great space in the condo for all of the guests we had with the loft. The Club House had great indoor and outdoor Hot Tubs and were never really overcrowded, and the outdoor pool was almost as hot as the hot tub, so there was plenty of room for everyone to soak apres ski. Overall, a great place to escape for a mixed Business and Pleasure Vacation near Park City! Just Call before you arrive to verify where to Check In, as it may be a couple miles away.

Situated about 1.5 miles from canyons resort and about 6 miles from park city, Redstone is its own little community. Some fun bars and good shops are on the doors step. Don't be put off by the proximity to the outlet stores Redstone is a main street downtown feel and everything is on the doorstep. Ski hire, child care and organic or standard groceries are all there. Some may want the in town feel of Park city, but the canyons resort is more fun and accessible,as well as less crowded. this was a real find for us and we will be going back.

We were absolutely delighted with our entire experience at the Newpark Resort. Our room was spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Three of us stayed in a luxury suite, which consisted of sleeping area (king), divided from the living area (queen sofa-bed) by a gas fireplace, eating area, kitchen, and fabulous bathroom. Our balcony overlooked the mountains (and Olympic ski jumps!), which we enjoyed looking at from our private hot tub! A washer and dryer was an unexpected bonus, and the storage space available was more than we needed, even with ski equipment for a family. Other amenities we enjoyed within the hotel included a small gym, an indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tub, sauna and steam room. The town was walking distance, so we parked the car and left it for the week! We didn't even need it for skiing as the shuttle picks you up right outside the hotel. We can't recommend the hotel highly enough - and are planning a return visit already!
