Check in was pleasant, however when we got to our room, it had been cleaned but there were dirty wet towels on the floor & the garbages were full, and the bedding was ruffled. Suspect someone went in room after they'd checked out, or someone else did. We asked to be moved to a clean room & they moved us. The first room had a beautiful view overlooking a fountain, the room we were moved to was at the back near the laundry, & the new view was of a parking lot, and we often heard the loud beeps of trucks backing up. However we decided to tune it out as best we could, as we didn't plan on being in the room much anyways. Everything else was absolutely wonderful & what we'd hoped. It is a nice resort, kids loved the lazy river, mini golf & pools. We loved the poolside services available & used them regularly. Liked the gift shops, and the restaurants were wonderful. Service was fantastic everywhere we went, and people were friendly. We wanted a place that had everything, and we didn't have to leave the resort if we didn't want to, and this resort totally fit that requirement for us. We had a fridge added to our room, and walked to a grocery store to pick up a few extra snacks & things for the kids & us. My parents came with us, they enjoyed the resort, but I think they would have liked to go on more tours around Phoenix, but found those to be quite pricey. We just enjoyed ourselves at the resort for a whole week.

Perched high on the desert cliffs, this hotel-resort was one of the most geographically beautiful places we've ever stayed in. The rooms were pretty much standard hotel fare, tho' the beds were comfortable and the rooms clean and well-maintained. It was the service that really made our stay. Staff were helpful, courteous, and personable. The food was quite good, too, with both family and "grown-up" dining choices. We'd visit again anytime!

We stayed at the hotel for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it - would definitely go back. The resort is beautiful and maintained very well. Staff overall very friendly - only issue related to service at the lounge, Blue Sage restaurant and pool. In each case, I found the service to be slow and unreliable. If you can deal with that, this place is perfect ! Note - concierge service was great - would definitely use them.

I stayed at the Canyon Villas for business. My villa was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Only downside was no restaurant for villa location. A shuttle is available to the main resort. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again...for business and pleasure.
