The five restaurants made the stay convenient. Other than the 'tailgater' on January 10, we ate all meals in. The Starbucks was just right for breakfast. On the first night we had a great dinner at the "Hole In The Wall." After the game Rico's was still open. We ate dinner there on Tue & Wed, too. Super salads. The Concierge arranged a jeep type tour for us on short notice. The vehicle was a converted Chevy Blazer, and the driver/guide was very colorful and informative. We had a real blast and learned about desert survival. In all, the folks at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort were helpful and made us feel welcome. I recommend anyone going there get written directions from the hotel. The freeways can be confusing, and the street numbering off Glendale Blvd make one feel he's lost in the Twilight Zone!

The hotel was over booked and service was slow all around. If you have children it is a great place for them to have fun. The rooms however were clean and quiet. Especially considering the amount of people there. There is NO celluar service in the rooms or outside of the rooms. We had 4 different phones with different service providers and none of them worked anywhere in the resort. So great if you are looking to get away from work. :-) The hotel wasn't what I was expecting however had I had a child under the age of 12 I would highly recommend this Hotel. They have several activities during the day/evening for children under 12 and families. Movies in at the pool, a bb-q for them, and a waterslide. So if you have small ones this is the place to be.

From the valet parking attendents to the pool staff to the front desk staff, service was incredible. Ice cold water and ice tea were available in the lobby which was much appreciated. The pool staff was attentive and kept pitchers of ice water fresh for each party. The frozen towels and popcicles delivered poolside were much appreciated in the hot afternoon. The resort is kid and family friendly.
