My boyfriend and I wanted to get away for a last minute trip during the Labor Day weekend. We hated to leave. All of the staff members (with the exception of the hostess at Cafe...) were courteous and pleasant. The hotel itself was a little out-dated for the price, but because of the elaborate list of amenities, I'll settle it as a fair trade. If you'd like a great view at the beach, reserve your umbrellas early! I liked the convenience of being able to charge almost everything to the room as it lessened the hassle of carrying a purse/wallet. We only had to leave the resort once in search of dinner because we were unaware that Voyager's, the resort's on-site restaurant, would be closed on the weekend. I guess we lucked out because the very nearby Cobalt restaurant was amazing! We will definitely be back.

I was met by a very friendly staff member when checking in who asked all of the appropriate questions and gave me directions to my roo, #505. The room was large and spacious enough that I did not feel as if I was in a closet. Later, I asked the staff person about a good seafood restaurant and her recommendation was excellent. My only complaint, and please understand it is not a complaint, was that the deadbolt did not work properly in room # 505. The staff was willing to move me to another room, I thanked them and decided to stay because the deadbolt operation was not a reason to move (that is why I say it is not a complaint). I would highly recommend this Fairfield Inn because of the friendly staff and their willingness to help if possible. This goes also, for the lady that was serving the continental breakfast. Other people commented that the rooms were larger and the staff friendlier than at another resort down the street and they wished that they had not made reservations at the other place and could stay at this Fairfield Inn.
