The resort was nice, the courses well cared for, and the food was outstanding. You should ask a few questions before renting a cottage as they are privately owned and subject to POA rules. For example, a pickup truck cannot be parked in front of your cottage overnight. We had to park our truck at the resort and use the complimentary shuttle service to go back and forth. The service was timely and appreciated. Also, the wireless internet access noted in the amenities is only available at the resort, not at the cottages. We had to sit in the lobby or restaurants to go online. Don't get me wrong, we wanted the cottage for privacy, extra bath and kitchen, but these other things detracted from our stay.

This hotel is amazing. i was just there for the week of 6/6. Things you know... -You are on an island surround by condos and other hotels... you NEED a car if you want to leave the resort -VALLET is the only option for your car... $20 a night -Get a room with OCEAN / COASTLINE VIEW. the views are amazing -The Suite has everything you need. pots / pans, glassware. silverware, fridge, washer / dryer, dishwasher, flat screens, dvd player. the rooms are amazing -Infinity pool is great -Hotel Bar and tiki bar is outrageously expensive... $15 for a tropical drink -Staff is extremely politie, nice and helpful I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a secluded vacation away from all the tourist attractions. If you like to be a beach bum and utilize the resorts features... this will be a great choice for you. If you like walking to all the attractions and only want to sleep at the hotel... this is NOT for you

This was an older hotel that had been somewhat refurbished. It is a decent hotel for the money but not a hotel you would want to go for an extended stay. The pool is very small and not really set up as a resort hotel. The "fitness" room was very small with just a couple cardio machines. You have to drive about 4 to 5 miles mies to get to a decent beach. However, it was a decent stop on our way back to Ft. Lauderdale to fly out the next day. Since it was at the end of the vacation, it was more about keeping costs down while staying at a relatively safe place.
