We loved the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort. It was within walking distance to other hotel's and restaurant's. Although we did eat at the Holiday Inn too and the food was very good. No compaints. I had booked a partial view of the ocean, but wasn't happy with that, so went down to the desk and ask about a ocean view room ( facing the ocean ), and they were exceptionally nice and upgraded us to oceanview. We will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn again. Can't wait to go back.

When we first arrived I reminded the desk clerk that I had requested a room on a higher floor, the first room that we were sent to was on the first floor and I was very displeased. I refused this room and we were given the option of seeing several other rooms. The room we choose had a moldy odor and mold on the walls so we had to move again due to allergies. Finally, we were placed in a room in the Aruba Tower (main) on the 4th floor, this room was cleaner and did not smell of mud. Despite a rocky start the vacation was wonderful. Don't forget to take a photo with the birds that are on the resort, they are taken out of the cages daily and they talk.

This was our first time to Aruba and the Marriott did not disappoint. Although there was extensive remodeling going on in August, the hotel did everything they could to make up for any inconveniences. The staff was always helpful and friendly, willing to serve our needs. With a 7 year old and a 5 year old child, this meant everything! If we return to Aruba, we will stay at the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino again. The Naruko Family in Orange County, California

I highly recommend the Hyatt Resort Aruba. My husband and I have traveled all around the world and without a doubt the Hyatt ranks amongst the best. The staff was extremely accommodating and provided exceptional customer service. I was disappointed with the cable TV selection...but we were not in the room for extended periods. When my husband wanted to watch playoff basketball, our concierge quickly found local restaurants and sports bars that were playing the game. You won't be disappointed.

This was my 3rd time in Aruba and I have to say the best one yet. The last 2 times I stayed at another hotel and let me tell you changing the hotel really changes the experience. I'm already planning a trip back in the summer. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. My only regret was the all inclusive and that's only because Aruba has such great restaurants all over the island that you really don't want to be confined to the 4 restaurants on your resort. We still went out for dinner a couple of nights even though we paid for the all inclusive. The location of the hotel is prime also. You're right in the middle of everything. There's a strip of GREAT restaurants right across the street. Although I still want to see other hotels on the island, I would come back here too.

The resort was everything I expected and more! Everything went very smoothly. The rooms were up to date and very clean. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool. The staff at the restaurants, bars, and pool were curteous and attentive. The resort was very clean. A great variety of food was available at the buffet. It was delicious and included a wide variety of vegetables and fruits which can be lacking in Aruba. We tried 3 out of the 4 specialty restaurants at the resort and all three were great. We had a late flight returning home so when we check-out they gave us a voucher for us to eat and use any of the facilities for the rest of the day. All and all it was a great time. I would definately go back there.

I just returned from Aruba and stayed at the Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa & Country Club with two of my girlfriends. The resort was very nice and surronded by a very relaxing environment. We rented a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath that was very spacious and gave us room to spread out. Giovanni is a concerciege at the resort and he was the ABSOLUTE BEST to work with. He was very friendly, helpful and ensured that we had good service during our stay. The resort is very spread out, so most ppl rent cars to get around and to get to the main hotel area, which is about 10 minutes away. We decided to cab. It was very easy to get a cab to and from. I would definitely recommend the resort if you are looking for more space than a traditional hotel room. It was a relaxing oasis that was a home away from home. It was also very easy to get to the shopping, dining and nightlife on the island from this resort.

We stayed at the Surf Club for a week at the end of September 2008 in the new "Navigator" building and were very impressed with the property. One bedroom units were clean, spacious and fully equipped (with stacked washer/dryer). This resort has a wrist band system for pool access which appears to have moderated the reported problem with overcrowding at the lazy river pool. The beach was a bit of a disappointment for us (after nine visits to Aruba we prefer Eagle Beach) but was being widely enjoyed by others. We rented a car because we travel widely on the island, but the resort is a walkable distance to the new mall and restaurant area of the "high rise" area (for pedestrian safety we suggest using the access road behind the resort, not the main drag).

The Playa Linda Timeshare Resort is a place you should consider staying in Aruba. We got a studio room from Expedia and it ended up really being a one bedroom suite. Each room has a complete kitchen, dinette area and plenty of seating to relax after a day at the beach. The staff bends over backwards to help you out and everyone is very friendly. Each room has a great view of the ocean and most have a view of the ocean and pool area. There are plenty of superb restaurants around the resort and therefore a car is not needed. Taxi and bus service is efficient. You can take in a day at the spa, play bingo at the pool deck and learn to salsa and work out with water aerobics. We met many people who have been vacationing there for 10-25 years. I can see why as it is a resort I will return to. A+
