This hotel is nice, but it has changed significantly from the old days. My biggest pet peeve of the 'new' hotel: there is now piped in music around every single pool - this is super annoying to someone like me that just wants to sit quietly and relax w/o listening to loud music all day every day. I couldn't escape the sound system at the resort - it felt a bit like staying at Atlantis. Also, the hotel is now catering to families with young children - that's well and good, but it changes the overall atmosphere of the resort and may not be the best choice for a romantic, peaceful holiday if you're vacationing with your spouse. The views are still great, the rooms are nice, and the service is top notch, but the overall vibe of the resort has changed from calm and intimate to large and boisterous.
