Ski lessons are available for all ages, but maybe you’d rather watch the scented evergreens race by on a snowmobile, snowboard or tube. Have you ever thought of going on a romantic sleigh ride? Expedia can help you get ready for all the excitement, including timely snow reports.

When the snow melts away and wildflowers drape the mountainside, Park City resorts place you in the middle of hiking heaven. Expedia can help you get hiking maps and all the scenic details. You and the kids will love the bouldering zones, climbing areas, and alpine adventure rides. If you thought the view from the chairlift was breathtaking last winter, just wait until the mountain is in full bloom. If you’d prefer to see the sites the hard way, there are plenty of biking trails to get your heart pumping.

When your ready to take a break from the mountain, your Park City resort is loaded with adventures and activities. You might feel like doing a little horseback riding, or getting in a few holes of golf. You say you’re not much of a golfer? See if you can beat the kids at a round of miniature golf. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was available for early check-in when we arrived at 10 am. We were expecting a standard hotel room, but had a 2nd floor studio with loft and kitchenette in one of the buildings along the Rail Trail. Bathroom and loft were rather small, but the living area was comfortable and even though the room faced the parking lot, we had a nice little view through the balcony door toward the snow-covered runs (of the Canyons resort in the distance, I think). The living room had a sofa bed, but would have been very crowded for four people. Albertson's, Blockbuster, RiteAid, ABC (state liquor store) all within short drive. Park City's layout has always been a bit confusing to us, so pick up the map at the front desk when you check in, and find one of the Menu Guide magazines--the map in the center marks a lot of restaurants and is the best map we found for Park City and the surrounding resorts.

We stayed here for a 4-day weekend. It is a great place for families with everything located within a quick bikeride. Park City is a bicycling town with tons of trails and it doesn't make any sense to drive once you get to the resort. The rooms were very nice, nice decor and comfy beds. Service was excellent and the dinnerwares/pots/pans and kitchen features were outstanding. The local grocery stores were very reasonable too. Not your typical skitown gouge that I've grown callous to!! Park City is a great getaway and I would move there in a heartbeat. The Park Plaza is a nice getaway from the normal resort routine.

It was the best price I saw for a week long stay. Only issue we had was that hot water needed to be warmer than it was and come to find out, the owners come together to determine the temp. Reccomend turning it up. Great location and easy to get to Main Street and all major resorts!

Three things to mention about this experience: 1) I called the hotel the night before to see if we could check-in early due to a wedding that we were attending. We didn't want to travel in our nice clothes. The night clerk asked my name and hung up on me three (3) times before I gave up. I've never stayed there before, so I'm not sure what to make of the reaction. 2) This was one of the noisest room I have ever stayed in. The hotel is designed in a "V" shape and we were facing inside. We felt like we could hear everything outside as well as all sorts of mechanical bumps and other loud noises (not guest noise) through the night. 3) This hotel is up at one of the Park City ski resorts (The Canyons) and so I had the expectation preset to not pay for parking. I was wrong. Keep that in mind when you plan your trip.

Nice, clean and centrally located condo. Right near Park City Mountain Resort. Across the street from the bus. Hot tub was a little tepid - they were fixing the heater when we were there. Perfect for skiers on a budget.

While the Staff was very pleasant&helpful, the Food very good and fairly priced and the Pool Facilities were enjoyable, the Rooms leave much to be desired. They are the most poorly laid out Hotel/Resort Rooms I have ever been in my life. The Kitchen area&Main Living area in the Rooms have no table or chairs-you have to sit on the couch and use folding tables hanging on a hook to eat. The main TV sits high atop the Kitchen Utility Closet and to say the least everything is extremely cramped. It is difficult to believe that anyone vacation for an extended time would come for a repeat stay in such cramped quarters. Additionally, the general layout of the Westgate leaves much to be desired. We encountered several people roaming the halls looking for the Cafe, the Deli and the Pool.

When we booked the resort we thought we were getting a great price on a new, luxury studio with a "mountain" view. On the contrary, the room was run down and "beat" as my boyfriend put it. We were so excited to get a "mountian" view but it turns out the our view was blocked by a great big buiilding which not only blocked the view of the mountain it also blocked the sun light from coming in the room. Lighting was dim and everything else just was worn down and old. The kitchen was great and having a washer/dryer and fireplace were nice. Hallways smelled a bit of sewage and you had to leave the resort to get a drink or a meal. Having said that, the surrounding village was wonderful, restaurants great, and the location was essentially ski in and ski out

we stayed in the one bedroom, 2 bath suite and everything was great. Large condo style room with a separate bedroom, fireplace, plenty of windows facing the ski lifts of Park City resort. We able to walk over to purchase lift tickets or you could buy them at the front desk. Front desk personnel were accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
