I was very pleased with Treasure Beach Hotel. The service is very personal and you feel more like family than a guest. The hotel itself was very quiet and relaxing without the busy "resort" feel. Breakfast was free with our booking and couldn't have been better: omelettes to order, fresh fruit and juices, toast, etc. Housekeeping was exemplary. I have stayed at many a hotel in the caribbean and this one was by far the cleanest. The housekeeping ladies were great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet, restful vacation without a bunch of noisy kids and rowdy party people. The grounds were also beautiful and very well maintained.

My wife and I and our two boys (11 & 10) stayed at the Crystal Cove the first 2 weeks of July 09. The resort was well maintained and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The water-sports team were superb, particularly Romeo, and he was very patient teaching the kids to water-ski. The food was pretty good - particularly the breakfasts and lunches. The more formal dinners in Reflections were OK - think good quality wedding reception to give you an idea of the standard. Buffet nights were the best. They do insist on gentlemen wearing long trousers in Reflections so make sure you have those. We never had a problem with any sort of queues at the bars. The pool area with sun-loungers is small - 25 beds for an 88 room hotel. Although the hotel wasn't full the loungers were reserved very early and quite selfishly by groups not appearing till much later in the day. In the second week even though the hotel was busier, it was easier to get a bed by the pool. There were plenty of beds on the beach so there really wasn't an issue for us -it was also a bit cooler being away from the concrete but I guess if the hotel were full, there might be a problem. The only issue we had was from mosquitoes . Although we had the repellent in our room, we were all bitten & so was everyone we spoke to. We think the walk through the lush gardens and the meals in the open restaurants was where they struck All in all, we had an excellent relaxing holiday in the sun and would certainly go back.

Tamarind Cove was everything we thought it would be and more. It definitely did not disappoint. The hotel decor is very suited to the islands, very classy in an understated way. What we really loved was that it's a nice smaller resort, not one of those massive 'super resorts' where you get lost just walking around. Tamarind Cove is literally right on the beach, from any room you are mere minutes from the glorious Caribbean sea. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated and we found them very roomy. We were on the ground level, ocean front, with our own private patio and we could literally just walk 2 seconds and we were on the beach. Amazing. The staff is super friendly and we made friends with many of them. One of them even left us a gift on our pillow on our last day! Unheard of anywhere else I have travelled. There are tons of restaurants around but be sure to walk the beach and head over to Daphnes. It's a little pricey but great food, and its owned by the hotel. A good idea is to go across the street to the Esso convenience store to buy drinks or snacks a lot cheaper and put them in your fridge. One nice touch is that the hotel staff walks around during the day and brings you a cooling eucalyptus soaked towel, then later on a piece of fresh pineapple, then around 4:00 a frozen treat! Makes you feel quite special during your stay. The best part of our stay there was definitely the people, the friendliness of the staff and the location of the hotel. Great hotel!
