This was the second time at La Amada and one more time we were extremely impressed by the quality of service and of the whole staff. Everybody was extremely professional and made us feel at home. When asked all the staff was always available to help us with suggestions and provided the service we requested from Pedro at room service and staff at concierge Carolina, Juan Carlos, Diego, Claudia. The location is beautiful and quite if you look for a relaxing beach away from the crowd. The food and drink are extremely good, strongly recommend Lupita bar for Tequila tasting, sushi and ceviche. Also la Isla grill offers great selection and variety of food. Breakfast buffet is top level for both quality and presentation. Overall La Amada is an excellent resort and we look forward to go back.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for 6 nights. When we first arrived at 10am we were told our room wasn't ready until 3pm so we walked around the resort and had lunch. Keep in mind this resort is still in the building process - so there maybe more activities and entertainment once they are completely open. We went with the all-inclusive - which was ok. There was only 2 restaurants open and room service. The menus are pretty small and no mexician food at all on the property. We asked if when all the restuarants are open if they will have a mexican restaurant and were told no. On our departing day - we said something to management and they told us we could have asked for anything we wanted and if the chef's had it, they would make it. Would have been nice to know right away. The shuttle service is great - it gets you off site so you have something to do. Highly suggest going to Isla Murjeres - just a short ferry ride away from the resort. They are extremely pushy on getting you to sit through their timeshare presentation. We kept asking the conceriage about going to Isla Murjeles and they apprantely have a deal where if you do the presentation - they give you this for free. Well, we didn't want to waste our time and finally they told us where the travel agent was that could book this for us. Overall, the resort/rooms are beautiful - gorgegous!! The employees work very hard to make sure you are happy. Just needs a little more night life.
