We stayed at this resort for a week and genuinely, we think that it was excellent resort to stay at. Resort staff is friendly and helpful. Food quality is fantastic. Hotel cleanliness is great. Pool area and their private beach is impressive. The colonial look of the resort just adds to the fun. They have superb focus on the customer entertainment and their comfort. Perhaps the only down side is, its almost impossible to get a reservation in their speciality restaurants but that could be because the resort seems to be always overbooked. Nonetheless, their buffet areas for the breakfast, lunches and dinners serve excellent food and therefore no complains whatsoever. Their bars are equally competent. If you are a weight watcher then be careful because with the service of their restaurants and the food varieties they server, you may get carried away with drinks and food just like me :-) At the time of checking-out, they ask you to fill out a survey. In their survey they ask you Yes/No questions instead of rating from 1/5. In the heading of their survey, they have a question; Were we excellent. I believe that the survey form was thoughtful. The resort strives for excellence and therefore they did not bother to ask any other question. I loved my trip to Cancun and the most certainly the resort stay has a lot to do with it.
