First the good. The resort is in a great location with a beautiful beach and mountain backdrop.There are a few restaurants and stores nearby to buy beer and food. Everything is very expensive even for the locals. The pool bottom and entry is all white sand, very unique and beautiful. The landscape is very tropical and beautifully maintained.The snorkle gear and kayaks are complimentary. The snorkling is as good there as anyplace. The design, location, room amenities are great. Now the not so good. The upkeep is not what you would expect of a top notch resort. The wood floor loby needed maintenance. The bathroom tiles needed new grout.The hospitality room was dingy. Alot of deferred maintenane of the structure. We saved booking through Expedia instead of directly with the resort. Overall a great value.
