The Parrot Tree is spectacular and the rooms are beautiful. The front desk was helpful and the facility was amazing!!!! There are only two things we have to say, one is negative and the other is a suggestion. 1. Negative - the Palapa restaurant was very limited in its menu and the service was terrible. Since it is the only resturant open for lunch and dinner, we went to the grocery store and cooked ourselves. (the room had a beautiful kitchen fully equipped). We also went out to some fabulous restaurant where we saw lots of people from the Parrot tree. The one shinning star at the Palapa was Wilferd a fabulous waiter that really did try to help. The restaurant #2 that serves breakfast only was fabulous! The food and service was wonderful. 2. Suggestion - There is not a lot of information in the rooms about the island or events at the resort. You have to ask about everything. I highly suggest that you plan on renting a car for a few days to see the island and go to West Bay and do a lot of research before you get there. The frontdesk was very helpful but unfortunately we had to call a lot. Overall this resort is beautiful and we loved our room and the stay. The pool is exotic and romantic. The laguna is relaxing and beautiful. You will not reget your stay. You do need to rent a car to experience the West Bay where there is a lot of activities. We had a fabulous time!
