We enjoyed our hotel stay at the Royal Rex very much. We were glad that we had selected this Rex property. It was more expensive, but definitely worth the money. After going to quite a few all inclusive resorts, we were also happy with our choice. It was not as nice as some of the other resorts, but there were quite a few restaurants in walking distance and we enjoyed the flexibility of choosing where we wanted to eat. It was also much cheaper this way. We rented a car while on the island. Driving was definitely a challenge, but worth it to see the interior of the island. We would defintely recommend the Rex by Royal if you want a hotel that is not all inclusive.

this was our second time in this resort..We like the price 180 a night all inclusive for both of us. Location is fantastic,on the beach,water very calm,fabulous view. Food is simple, but very good and healthy choices.You have to rent a car to get there and it takes about 40 min.

Exceptional value. Great pool. Walk to beach. Food OK, but my opinion on food should not be given any weight. Not a beach resort.
