If you are expecting to be pampered, this is not the place for you. However, if you want to enjoy a nice quiet place with good food, then check it out. I have stayed in other Decamerons, and so far this one has lowest rating in service of all. The food and rooms were very good, the service was lacking a little. But value for money was good overall. The San Luis is not close to the rest of the other Resorts. Is a litte more secluded, but you can get to the other via bus ot taxi. Bus is very cheap (50c).

The hotel is ok, but an "all inclusive" resort ion the caribbean where there is no possibility to have lobster, shrimps, octopus, etc... in the menu everyday so you can choose from? Will you go to the caribbean and have no sea food? Of course meat and chicken are cheaper so the buffet was overloaded with meat and chiccken everyday

I suspect most of the resorts on San Andres are not as nice as some others outside of Colombia. However, it is a nice place. The small beach is okay for sunbathing, but the water isn't too pristine for swimming. However, there's a free 5 minute boat ride to the Acuario island, which is a great place to snorkel & swim. Drinks are all inclusive. The food was pretty good aside from the steak being only average. There are free shuttles between all Decamerons on the island, so that's a great way to get around in case you want to see the town of San Andres (not much there to be honest) or just to hit some other Decameron restaurants.
