The resort itself is very nice. It has three restuarants with excellent service and beautiful pools. The sunsets are unforgettable. The beds do leave much to be desired. They are so hard, they hurt your back! We did run into a running water problem in the restroom that took 2 days to resolve and that was a bit annoying. Try the horseback beach ride at Astrid's Ranch, well worth the money. Do not leave San Carlos without doing the Hattie's Sunset Cruise located at the marina. Great margaritas and snack food! Having the dolphins join you during the 2 hr cruise will make your trip worthwhile. The resort has everything you need to spend a few days spoiling yourself in the sun, just beware of the high winds in the afternoons. The morning walks are beautiful!
