Was not a posh resort, but was clean, friendly and accomadating staff. Was more of a condo resort than a hotel resort. Main pool had a bar and was more of the busy and happening place. Pools located between buildings were quite and peaceful. Bike rental was included in fees and was able to bike around the main village, resort located close to most thing. this was a getaway for me and wife w/o kids and this was a good pick, we would stay agian. May come back with the kids to same resort, they would like it too.

Great location -- minutes off the causeway and right on the endless beach. Smaller than other resorts on Sanibel, but with most that you would want and the option for golf and amenities of a larger resort by visiting sister properties. Very low-key during our off-season visit. We stayed in a 2 bedroom residence condo unit -- perfect for our family with 2 young adult children.

The Sanibel Moorings Condo Resort was the perfect place for a little R&R plus we enjoyed walking the beach, using our rented bikes and kayaking the canals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The condo was bigger than we expected and we loved the screened-in pouch. We had the "garden view" and was impressed with the nice array of plants. The pools were small, but that was ok because we prefer the beach. My husband and I were very pleased with the resort. We had a wonderful time, we highly recommend a stay at the resort.

Been to a number of places on Sanibel, and this was our favorite. Coconuts and The Thistle Lounge are a great asset to this resort.
