The hotel is in a nice strip of the south beach and gives you the ambience of a small cozy resort.

Hotel is in great location. We came for a bachelorette party. Everything is close by (Walgreens, Liquor stote, CVS). Clubs are a short cab ride away. We walked most places during the day. Beach & pool area great. We got upgraded to a bed the first day after waiting for chairs by the pool for 30 mins. They served complimentary chocolate pretzels while we were in the pool. Breakfast was great it was included in our room charge. We also got the $100/night resort crdit which came in handy to use for lunch & misc. expenses (we didnt use it all, so lost it at check out). Staff is pleasant. Beach area is great as well. Towels etc provided for us at the beach. Great hotel overall. :)

Watch out for those resort fees.

My first trip to South Beach started with the most unique check-in experience I have ever had; in-room check-in. What a brilliant idea!! I was met at the entrance to the hotel by a very welcoming and professional staff member. He advised me of the process of checking in in the room, and off we went luggage in tow. We arrived at the "room," which in fact was a beautiful suite, where the check in took less than five minutes. The suite was very well appointed and VERY clean! While the appearance of the hotel kept the theme of 50's art-deco, which is common in SoBe, the appointements inside the room were beautiful and state-of-the-art! After spending most of the day taking in the local beaches and SoBe attractions, I retired to enjoy the features of the resort. They have a beautiful pool area in a "garden" setting which also envelopes the al-fresco dining area. The full-service bar and restaurant provide excellent food and drink. The service was exceptional in every sense! The owner was visible and attentive to the guests...bringing out the true "boutique" nature of the resort. For anyone looking for a charming, very clean and well appointed "boutique" resort within walking distance of the beaches and all that SoBe has to offer, I highly recommend The Angler's Resort! I will definitely re-visit The Angler's Resort and SoBe very soon!!
