Everything was great. The resort was near everything. The condo/ apartment was in good condition and were very clean. Continental breakfast was very good as well as the service. Great bargain too.

We loved this hotel! It was convenient to everything - just across the street from the heavenly ski resort, shopping and a grocery store. It felt like a small boutique hotel; very different from the 50's style motel lodges that seemed to be your only other choice if you didn't want to stay in a resort. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and bedding. Reception was friendly and helpful, and gave us good suggestions on things to see and places to eat. One evening they even had a free wine tasting and local BBQ. Our only downside was the water was very slow to drain in the shower, but to their defense, we never called to have it looked at either because it didn't bother us too much. I would give this place two thumbs up. We really enjoyed it!

Close to Nevada border, so we could enjoy casino, hard rock cafe. All dorms have view to the lake and mountains, very relax. Walk distance to local commerce such as CVS and Safeway. Close to hevenly ski resort.

This hotel is very nice, it's in such a wonderful place and it's affordable. (Even on a budget.) I would highly recommend this to place to anyone and everyone who wants to go Lake Tahoe. I especially liked that the lake was literally 2 minute walk from the room. It was also good to have such a variety of water activities right there! They have boating, jet skiing, para-sailing, kayaking, paddle boating, and more. This hotel was located right in the middle of all the action. There are many places to shop, eat, and just hang out, all which are all with in walking distance. This trip was memorable, mostly because of this resort! Come experience the fun in Tahoe!

From the moment I picked up the phone to inform of our late check on the day of our arrival (post midnight) was the beginning of a wonderful 5 night stay at a quaint little resort in South Lake Tahoe. The room itself was a spacious cabin designed room. A guest laundry room is located within the grounds of the resort, and the spa & pool being only a couple minutes away on foot made this truly a place in which to relax. The main reception area is contemporary in design and was the place to go if you wanted access to a computer, the continental breakfast in the morning, a game of pool, watch TV on the flat screen or maybe just to annoy the very friendly staff that are manning the desk. They are the guys to go to if you require information on the nearby ski resorts or general information about the area or about your room. This is the place stay if you want easy access to the ski resorts or to relax on the beach with both being a mere 10 minutes walk away.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, not least for its location right at the foot of the Gondola, and walking distance to lots of good food and the casinos. However know what you're getting into. It is a "resort" hotel, so lots of kids. The rooms aren't particularly sound proof, but at least the noise dies down at a reasonable hour. The booking was made for a room with a queen-sized sofabed, but we were initially put in a room with a "twin" (looked more like a single to me), until I complained. The room description also said bath. It was more like a footbath, with the drain so low, you'd only ever get about 5 ins of water in there. The resort activities were fun though, and if you have kids, lots of stuff for them.
