This hotel/resort is a nice place but there are some considerations that must be made. The property is nice, clean, with dining on premises. There is a definite downside to some of the amenities however as the presence of large wedding parties may lead to late night noise. I think they should have tried to keep regular guests and the partiers separate. I learned the hotel had less than desired sound insulation the hard way- my dogs kept barking at the noisy guests...it was 1:30 :( ... Furthermore, some may find the beds to be somewhat worn out- nice bedding, but really crummy mattresses. Luckily I am not at all picky about mattresses, but some of those who I was traveling with are, and even I could tell that the matresses were old and worn. The negatives being said, the property is very nice, located at a point that is a perfect spot a mile from the highway and just outside Sturbridge village. Also, when I complained about the issues in the morning my party was given free breakfast and a very heart felt appology. I think all in all I would actually go back again, as it can be tough to find pet friendly rooms at times.
