We loved Pine Ridge, although it looked like it was a ways from town on the map, it wasn't. It was a 5 minute walk. We had a great location in Builiding 9, with two good sized decks and a creek right behind us. Very scenic. We also really liked our greeting at the front desk. Very nice and informative about the area. All in all a wonderful stay at the Pine Ridge Condos. Our friends were staying at the Hilton Club resort and they liked our location and room better.

Really enjoyed our stay here at the resort. The room was nice and clean the beds were very comfortable with nice bedding & linens. The only draw back was the walk down the long corridors to get to our room after a long day of skiing. The proximity of the elevators to our room was quite a distance. There were enough food options and activities surrounding the hotel. Great valet service to retrieve our car when needed, to go exploring other ski areas in Summit County. I would highly recommend this resort for any length of stay.

We were pleasantly surprised that the resort had a full kitchen (refridge, stove, oven, microwave). Bathroom was a nice size. However, when we went to check out, the hotel told us there was a daily resort fee that wasn't part of the hotel.com fees displayed on line. It was definitely a disappointment to a very nice trip to have to pay for 3 days of resorts fees unexpectantly. Watch out!!

Good location but the hotel is a bit beat and there is not daily housekeeping. Keep in mind you are in a ski resort so there is not many options but don't expect a 3 or 4 star hotel.

Our stay was great. The hotel room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The ski in/out resort has a very nice access to the mountain. The food at the resort is great but very expensive. Next time we are going to use our kitchenette more and eat out less. The ski instructors for ski lessons are also very friendly and helpful. Our child really enjoyed the lessons. Everything was right there so we didn't have to drive for any of our skiing needs. I would definitely recommend this resort.

This is a great resort for families. Although we were 3 adults, we really enjoyed the amenities, in particular the hot tubs. The rooms were exactly what we expected: well equipped, clean, comfortable. The resort was very convenient. We loved being able to walk from our condo to the gondola. And the shops, restaurants and services available in River Run Village were great. The Inkspot is a wonderful breakfast/espresso/bar/bookstore. The ski rental was easy, and I particularly LOVED the skis I rented. We met lots of nice people on the lifts and gondolas, and it seemed like families were enjoying sledding as well as skiing. This mountain is a great mountain with plenty of different runs for skiers of all levels. Overall, this is a great ski resort.

We love this place, great location and clean, comfortable, well-appointed condos. We have stayed here several times before and will definitely come back again. This time, our condo was at the front of the building overlooking Main Street and late evening noise from the bars and street was a bit annoying. Try to get a room away from Main Street. We were here from Sunday to Wednesday and knew that we would not have daily housekeeping, but would have appreciated if the resort would have picked up our trash at least once. All in all, a wonderful place and an excellent value.

We had no idea what the rooms would be like at this Lakeside (Decatur bldg) resort. WOW -- it had a HUGE family room with 2 couches, 2 chairs and a fireplace, with a whole supply of wood. One couch was a pull out bed and the other was big enough for a kid or teen to sleep on. Nice kitchen with all the plates and silverware, soap, and micro and toaster. Even placemats! Had a nice dining table to seat up to 6. Master bedroom was separate with its own sink area. Shared toilet/shower area. Extra bathroom sink area on other side of toilet/shower. Pantry had lots of room to store food and fridge was very cold with a good freezer too. Also came with a dishwasher - nice for those staying longer. Condo and hallways were VERY quiet and room seemed sound proof. Only thing that was weird was thermostats (there were 2) didn't really seem to matter -- seemed overly warm. So we turned them off and cracked windows when needed. Room never got too cold. Shuttle stop for lifts was right outside the door of the bldg and came every 15 minutes until midnight!! Hotel also provided us free vouchers for ice skating and a sleigh ride. We LOVED this resort, although the price was very expensive for us! But this was our splurge and you definitely get what you pay for in terms of room, space and amenitites. You also have use of the indoor pool, sauna and hottub, which was fun for our kids.

After reading reviews and other information on this site and others, we were a bit disappointed with the actual experience. Service: The staff at check-in and throughout the stay were very friendly and helpful, but the service was spotty. The first day they didn't give us the key to ski storage, and when we went the second day to get the key, it didn't work. Maid service one day didn't come until after we returned from skiing in late afternoon, even though we had left the room at 8 a.m. And the shuttle service, while great most of the time, failed to show up after two calls on a busy Saturday night, so we gave up and walked (and froze). Facilities: The room (1 BR) was just ok. It was very hot throughout the stay (in February!) with the heat and fireplace never on, and we had to resort to opening a window and the patio door to cool it down. Unfortunately, the snow plows run all night and are very noisy with the window open. The TVs were both antique CRTs. The kitchen counter was NOT granite, but was granite tile with a pine border. Not a big deal for functionality, but "granite countertops" suggested a level of luxury that was not there. Also, although the bathroom was spacious, with a tub, separate shower, toilet and two sinks, it's all in one big room, so it's not practical for several people to get ready at once unless you don't mind brushing your teeth while someone is taking a shower or using the toilet right behind you. Location: Good location, but it is ski-in (4 O-Clock run off of Peak 8 ends right behind the main building) but not ski-out. The gondola is "across the street" but to get there you need to walk from your building to the back of the main building, go down about twenty steps to the tunnel under the busy road, then up about twenty steps. This puts you in the south parking lot, and the gondola is another 100 or 200 yards away. All this is at 9000 ft, wearing ski boots and carrying ski gear. After the first day, we took the shuttle. Value: room rates will vary, but remember to add the daily resort fee-- a scam here as at all hotels that play this dishonest game. Also, the fee does NOT include internet access, which is available for an additional daily fee. So add about thirty bucks per day to the advertised rate to get the real cost. Everything above is more of an explanation than a complaint (some is complaint) since there is so much misleading information on various websites. We will consider this hotel for future stays, but will also shop around for something better.

An extremely spacious, comfortable two bedroom, two bathroom condominium with a modern fully equipped kitchen. Sawmill Creek is located at the base of the 4 o'clock ski run, so perfectly placed for the ski back 'home' at the end of the day. There is no reception area at Sawmill Creek - keys, registration and queries are handled by a management agency on the Main Road in Breckenridge. However, personally, this was not an issue as most days were spent on the slopes. Breckenridge itself is a delightful ski resort, perfectly set up to accommodate their visitors.

ResortQuest Main St Junction was absolutely wonderful. Full amenities in your condo-like room make you feel at home away from home. Located right on Main St next to tons of resturants, bars and shopping, along with free shuttle service throughout the day. The only thing that was decieving was that the pool/jacuzzi was not near our room at all, it was across and down the street at the Main St Station hotel, and they made it seem as though it was right across the street. If it was cold, you would definitly have to drive there. We had only one problem with one of the toilets, but we called maintenence, and they came within the hour to fix it! I would definitly stay here again!

Expected a resort to be a little more clean. Bottom lid of toliet was dirty, extra pillows were all stained up, extra blankets in the coffee table smelled. Also the keys that we had to get into the main door didn't work so we had to have someone else that was staying there help us because after 5pm there is realy no help. One this is that check in time is after 4pm but the office closes at 5 - not good.

This resort is very close to the Keystone Ski Resort. The location of this resort is perfect! The studio room was small and clean and adequate for the price. One difficulty we had was during arrival. The hotel name "Gateway Mountain Lodge" is not found anywhere. The lodge sign is "Gateway". Further, after hours there is no sign and no way to contact the "condumium" headquarters which is located off W. Keystone. We ended up driving up and down highway 6 for approximately an hour to locate a means to check in.

We rented here because the proximity to the resort/town/lift/ski school was extremely convenient. Unfortunately, the first 1 bdrm we were booked in was very outdated, dingy, cramped, ran out of hot water, & above the garage entrance (so, it was quite loud in the condo every time the garage door opened/closed). The furniture, appliances, carpeting, etc. were worn and old: it was a condo meant for college buddies, not families or people looking for comfortable surroundings. The condo company agreed to let us choose between two other condos the next day and left keys for us in our room (a nice touch considering we didn't get back from skiing until late). Both new condos were upgrades from the 1st but were still somewhat outdated and had a number of minor issues: the nicer one had a leaky shower, a fireplace that was not working and older appliances. Had we been booked here at first, we would have been okay (once the minor issues had been fixed). But, because we were still not satisfied with our overall experience, we asked the company if they had any other condos that were in good condition and issue-free. They initially balked saying they had little control over how owners kept up their condos to which we expressed our disappointment/skepticism. They relented and moved us to a 2 bdrm, updated, beautiful condo. It was great and we enjoyed the rest of our non-ski time! I appreciate the company's save although that 1st condo needs major updating before it should be rented again.

We had never been to Breckenridge before and had no idea where to stay so we decided to use this site to look for rooms. For the rate we paid, we knew it was less than average for this town and that we wouldn't expect too much. Things started off bad as there was never mention in our booking or confirmation that this lodge does not have an attendant or check-in. We had to call the number and then drive about 7-8 blocks away to check-in. We arrived around 9:30 PM and the place closed at 10 PM so we lucked out. When we finally got to the room, it was a very dated room compared to the pictures posted on this site. It was pretty clean but just a very old feeling place and very small. There were cabinets everywhere and very old decor. The neighbors had their curtains open and walking past their room, it looked much nicer. The place is two stories and you definitely hear the creaking on the floor boards from above. The place did have a decent jacuzzi and a nice central room with a fireplace, snack machines and game room. The place is about a 50 yard walk to the bus stop for the free ride to the ski resorts and a very easy 10 minute walk to main street so that was a nice bonus. We never once drove our car while there. This lodge wasn't bad overall but it is definitely very close to average and a place where your expectations should be low and focused on the location.
