We stayed at the Western Resort and once we had fixed a problem with our booking we went to our room. The room was great. Bed and range of pillows were very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the room with a balcony which gave us good views of the ocean. It appeared to us that all rooms had a balcony and the shape of the Hotel maximised views of the ocean. Room was air conditioned - which is a must for Guam. Hot all year round. Well appointed bath room, good range of TV shows we could understand (CNN, ABC, BBC, Australian TV) and movies. Breakfast in "Taste" was very well organised and food was very good. We ate twice at the Italian Restaurant "Prego" which was a good eating experience - food was great as was the service. Only issue for us was the Tour Booking office which did not cater for English speaking tourist well (if at all). This is somewhat understandable as Japanese tourist make up about 80% of all tourist but it is an American Territory and English is the international language. The Westin is close to most major shoppping centres and a shuttle bus to the other Premium shops in Guam departed form outside the Westin. A good experience and we will go back to Guam in the future. A restful resort.

Nice resort, just not Marriott standards. Had to call for bath towels 2 of 5 days. Very limited beach area, had to walk down in front of another resort to lay on beach. Limited room service menu. Staff had limited knowledge of local events in the area. Adequate hotel; just not resort quality. Recommend if you only want somewhere to sleep.

I traveled to Guam last minute on a medical referral from CNMI. I have stayed at the bigger resorts in the past, but I decided to try the Baview Hotel, because of the availability and the affordable price. The stay was nice and the service was friendly, but the overall condition of the room should have been better. It doesn't take much effort to clean the aircon vent daily(looked like it wasn't cleaned for a few days at the least). There were stains on the carpet and the floor felt damp from the A/C. A couple of extra towels would have also been convenient since my wife was with me and two towels for 2 people isn't quite enough as people with long hair tend to use an extra towel after showers. However, it was a good experience that I would do again if the need arose.

Probably the best "3 star" rated resort we have stayed in. Great beach access, great pools, comfortable rooms, good options for on-site food, great central location for other restaurants, shopping etc. Not many options for sleeping family of 4 but would certainly stay again.
