Really enjoyed staying here and the resort had quite good facilities. The resort had mainly families staying at it, where as we went as a couple. I would recommend it if you are going as a family but if you're single or in a couple and want to meet people like you its probably not for you. The resort has lots of water sports to do and has some great pools and beaches. The couples massage in the Day spa was fantastic. The food is very pricey and you are kind of at the hotel's mercy as the only restaurants are within the resort, but its what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel The quality of food was very nice. I would highly recommend the Fijian Kokoda!

We just returned on a 7-day stay at the Sheraton Fiji. The rooms were very clean and the check-in was hassle-free, even after arriving at 6AM. They work with two resorts next door and could use any of their pools. They really take "Ocean View" lightly, I could not complain because I was able to see the ocean- with binoculars. The beach was alright and had a lot of water-sports available but I suggest venturing out to the other islands for spectacular views. Don't waste your money on the restaurants and go to Port Denauaru for better dining. We tried all of the resort restaurants and they brought out the wrong orders twice. For all their shortcomings it was the people at the resort that would make me want to come back. Ive traveled all over the word and the staff at the Sheraton are among the friendliest Ive ever encountered. Overall, its one of the best large resorts in Fiji and would highly recommend it.

The first impression of the resort is how grand it is. they used fires to illuminate the place which adds warmth and authenticity. The staff will go out of their way to assist and always polite and genuinely happy and friendly. The bathroom needs abit of work done but thats minor compare to other great things this resort offers. I feel like I come back home every day I step back into the resort. it is so relaxing and they play sing tasteful music at the bar, there is no better time than sitting there watching free fire dance and drinking discounted corktail at bula hour. i will recommend westin to anyone and we can't wait to go back ourself. i forgot to mention, they delivered a bottle of champagne and form a rose petaled heart on our honeymoon bed. Also, included free buffet breakfast every morning. this experience is very hard to beat!!!

This resort had the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. You couldn't walk more than a few steps without seeing a smile or hearing BULA (it means hello). The breakfast buffet was awesome and the free shuttle service that took us from resort to resort was great! I would highly recommend this resort. Great honeymoon spot with tons of great activities to do daily.

We stayed at Warwick recently and found the holiday experience immensely enjoyable. The resort looked exactly like what it is on the website/brochures. The beach has pristine clear blue waters and is clean. The resort is very suitable for families and friends who wants to come here and relax or do nothing. Due to the secluded location of the resort, guests staying here have the privacy of the whole resort to themselves. However, this also means that there is nothing else nearby for you to venture out on your own. Bewarned, that food is all in the AUD levels. So if you are staying here for more than 5 days consider taking the all meals package otherwise it is going to be an expensive trip as there is no other place to eat in the nearby vicinity. Overall, food in the 5 restaurants are OK. The beach of the resort is beautiful, however not much coral left to see if snorkelling is your thing. Port Denarau is 2 hrs away so prepare to travel if you want to do island day trips etc. Otherwise consider alternative resorts. Recommendations of day trips near to Warwick - Cave Tour and Inland Waterfall/Village Tour. Experience the real Fijian culture with these! You will not regret this. Overall, a very good stay and memorable holiday. A+

The resort and its surrounds were breathtakingly beautiful, much much more than we expected. The room was pleasant, clean and modern with everything we needed. The staff were super friendly, happy and helpful. The food was lovely, the majority of the menu was seafood. Extensive and delicious cocktail list. Ran a free daily activity program for guests including bike tour, fish feeding, coconut husking etc. Lots of free equipment available for use including kayaks and windsurfers. Also have a weekly fijian night at restaurant with fijian dancers, warriors and fire lighting ceremony. Walk straight off resort onto the private beach, and step into the bath temperature sea water, or dive into the resort pool. Close to shopping village- approx 5-10 min walk. Fantastic day cruise to yanuca island (and great price), picked up from resort jetty and returned there, superb scuba diving over coral reefs and tropical fish. Only thing we had a problem with was the '2 hour' drive to resort, we rented a car and drove, it took 2 1/2- 3 hours, very rough road conditions. Others we spoke to at resort took a taxi, for quicker and cheaper transport than hiring a car. We didnt need the car otherwise.

This place is awesome.....the friendliness of ALL the staff made us feel like home in the first few hours. This, in hindsight, was the highlight of our stay there!! They were so helpful, knew you by name and always had a huge "bula" on meeting. This resort is small but not cramped with plenty of room between bures. You will get to know other guests but not feel like you are living on their doorstep! It is certainly NOT a 5 star resort with all the mod cons so if this is what you like, it is not for you. The bures are a true Fijian experience with breathtaking views over the ocean and islands. They are very clean and and rustic and have bar fridge, hair dryer and aircon if required (We were not expecting this!). The resort is on a tidal flat but is this did not distract from the views. Free resort activities include, snorkelling daily, kayaking and coconut tree climbing demo (including fresh coconut to eat after!!!). The resort food is excellent and JB's do a fantastic pizza with awesome sunset views. It is very close to town so a quick trip to Nadi is only a quick taxi ride away. (F$8 one way to town). There are plenty of small supermarkets and bottleshops not far from the resort and plenty of cab drivers that will take you there for about F$10 return. In summary, we stayed for 5 nights and then moved to an expensive island for our last night........regretfully!!! This place is a MUST stay and we will certainly be back!

This was probably one of the quietest of the big resorts on Denarau. The rooms were luxurious and all rooms are beach front. It is just a stroll up the beach to the Sofitel, Westin and Sheraton Resorts where you can try their restaurants if you get bored with the two on the resort. I recommend taking day trips out to the islands if you decide to stay at a big resort such as this which can be arranged at the hotel reception or online. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was at times lacking in the main restaurant on the resort. The one annoying thing I found was that these big resorts have started a tipping trend that is uncommon on the island resorts. I don't like tipping and I would encourage people not to do it, lest it become common place throughout Fiji.

The staff at the Sonaisali are all very helpful, friendly & beautiful people. The Customer Care Manager Margarieta goes above & beyond. I have never stayed at a place where you are made to feel like family it was really lovely. The actual resort is very nice, it is a resort so you do pay resort prices. I would suggest a couple of days here then a couple of days at another venue on one of the Islands or at Denaura. Short taxt ride to Airport & Nadi but the taxi's outside the hotel are the hotel taxi's & are on fixed rates - don't get return rides as you are better off getting a taxi on a meter in town. Overall the resort was an absolute pleasure to stay at.

The resort is very seclued- away from everything. If you are looking for absolutely no noise/activities/entertainment- this one if for you. We did (a friend and I) go next door to Crusoe's Retreat where they had activities. There are no shops around the resort- the road is bumpy to get to and I can't understand why they (the owner more specifically) doesn't pave the road- few taxi's will drive up the street. The resort is about 4 km's from the main road where all cars and taxi's pass, and it's extremely hilly- probably not a good walk unless you're a hiker, even then- I still thinks it's difficult. Ensure to buy drinks/snacks before you get to the resort as they are more expensive there then in the regular shops and grocery stores. We did trips to the main cities- Suva and Nadi- took the regular city bus- which cost $3.10 Fijian dollards. The people who work at the resort are extremely nice. Very kind and work really hard. Be friendly to them- they don't make the rules at the resort. Respect goes along way on this island as everyone is extremely friendly. Queeny you are a great!!!! Thanks.

This was our first time to Fiji so unsure what to expect we had a fantastic time the staff could not do enough to make your stay pleasurable. We took the day trip offered by the resort to their sister island and spent the day snorkelling and sun bathing on the beach, a must do for everyone. The resort is fairly remote but that was its charm a walk 10 minutes one way took you to the marina and another resort 10 minutes the other to a traditional Fijian village where you were welcomed unreservedly. The sugar can train runs a few times a day which some might not like but we found it interesting and did not bother us at all. Food & drinks in resort was varied, well priced and tasty. We all did not want to leave and would definately return

We had a great time at Nadi Bay Resort. The whole place was clean, comfortable, and in very pleasant surroundings. Food was awesome and all staff very friendly. Other than the occasional flight takeoff and landing, as its not far from the end of Nadi airport, it wasnt so bad... more of a talking point. Pools and grounds were clean. No unwanted nighttime visitors (bugs) to the bedrooms. Someone suggested possible bed bugs there, but no sign whatsoever. Might have been that person got nipped by the sea lice around at the time. We had trouble with these after a trip to the islands. Even the complimentary mossie spray in the evenings made the holiday more pleasant. Take the 200m walk to Sitar Restaurant at the corner, well worth it.

Bula, Wananavu! Every thing in the resort was great, we have had a wonderful time in Wananavu resort. Prestine reef, lovely staff with beautiful sing-songs. However, we believe that trying different food is a very important part of people's travelling experience. Since the resort is quite out of town, we are limited to the resort restaurant menu. The view from the deck is to die for, but we found the food choices a bit unimaginative - seriously lacking of local taste. We truly enjoyed the only Fijian night and beautiful Chicken Pilau bought on our way to the airport (big "thank you" to our driver). Considering the abundant local fresh seafood and spices supplies, we felt that the resort could certainly put out a much tastier menu. I wonder if cooked breakfast with Beef bacon is a must in the menu, could the kitchen provide pork bacon as an options? I hope this won't hinder your decision of going to the Wananavu resort. If you like to have western food and would like to have food you eat at home, you probably would be very happy with the menu. We will definitely go back to Fiji. And we will definitely go back to Wananavu if the food gets more Fijian/Indian interesting.
