I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Even though a number of children, it wasn't distracting. Overall it was a great place for a weekend getaway. Staff was extremely pleasant and food in the restaurant was yummy. The bed was comfortable and I am a tad picky abt beds and pillows. No complaint from me. There were a few tweaks needed at the resort or necessary in our room. 1st, the curtains were hard to open and fell off the rod. The patio of our room wasn't checked and had an old beer bottle and cigar on the chairs. I would suggest that a resort map be given upon arrival to guests. I couldn't find one as a keeper to use, but in a book or on the wall. Wanted to go on a trail hike, but couldn't figure out where they were, other than the walkway around the golf course. I could have ventured further, but on my own, and with no map, I was reluctant to wander the woods. Other than those minor things, it was really nice and I would definitely go back, perhaps during the fall with the leaves changing.
